CEO Dee Gibson delivers remarks to the graduating class of 2009.
Dee Gibson
Chief Executive Officer
Dee and his wife, Kathy have been at White’s Residential & Family Services for more than 30 years, living on White’s Wabash campus and raising their three children, DeeAnn, Andy and Denae, here. Dee has worked in the field of Child Welfare for 35 years. He has 32 years of service at White’s, 12 as CEO. Gibson is a licensed Social Worker with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Management from Ball State University.
Mr. Gibson has served on numerous boards and committees dealing with child welfare issues. Previously Gibson served on Indiana’s Commission for Abused and Neglected Children and their Families. He has also served on Indiana’s Association of Children and Family Services Board of Directors for 15 years, five years as President. Mr. Gibson currently serves on IARCCA’S Institute for Excellence Board of Directors and Public Policy Committee.
Nancy Fisher
Vice President of Family Services
Nancy Fisher, MSW, serves as Vice President of Family Services at White’s Residential & Family Services, Inc. Nancy received her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State and her Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University. Prior to her employment at White’s, Nancy served as a foster parent trainer for the State of Indiana and coordinated an Independent Living program. Nancy and her husband have been foster parents for more than 23 years, caring for over 70 children, adopting four.
Nancy has served on many state boards and committees dealing with child welfare issues, including the Governor’s Commission on Abused and Neglected Children, and is currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Foster Care and Adoption Association. She and her staff annually oversee the care of approximately 1,700 children.
Jay Driskill
Vice President of Residential Services
Jay Driskell has been at White’s Residential & Family Services for 25 years. He is a licensed social worker (LSW) and also has a Master of Arts. He has served as Vice President of Residential for 12 years and served in various supervisory positions prior to his time at White’s.
Janine Luchenbill
Director of Development
Janine Luchenbill, MSM, has served as Director of Development at White’s Residential & Family Services since 2006. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Marion College (renamed Indiana Wesleyan University) and her Master’s in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University Fort Wayne.
Along with her 19 years of experience in development for non-profit organizations, Janine has also taught art, worked in interior design and owned a women’s boutique. She served at the American Lung Association of Indiana for 11 years, ultimately as Managing Director of the Northern Indiana Region. Prior to coming to White’s, Janine was Associate Director of Development at Manchester College.
Her professional and civic memberships include the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Wabash County Planned Giving Council, Rotary Club and Kiwanis. She is an active member of Warsaw Community Church.
