Ways to Give

White’s is deeply grateful for all gifts that we receive. Rest assured, your gift makes a lasting difference in the lives of the children we serve. The easiest, most convenient way to give is by using our online giving form. You may also give through the mail or with a credit card by calling 260-563-1158, ext. 1346. Unless designated otherwise, gifts benefit White’s Friend of a Child program which provides cultural, educational, athletic, social and spiritual activities for the children in White’s care. Through Friend of a Child, you can provide better lives for underprivileged children in White’s care.

Besides Friend of a Child, you may designate your gift for special projects and building campaigns to provide needed improvements and expansion of facilities and services.

You may make a single gift, a periodic gift or monthly gifts. Many donors prefer the ease of automatic monthly giving from your bank account or credit card through White’s 401(k)ids Plan.

Current forms of giving include:

  • Monetary gifts or pledged gifts
  • Stocks, bonds or other securities
  • Non-monetary gifts or in-kind gifts
  • Real Estate or business interest

Please contact the Development Office at 260-563-1158, ext. 1347 if you are considering a gift method other than cash, check or credit, because special tax and other factors may apply. White’s reserves the right to accept or not to accept specific gifts of real estate based upon the decision of White’s Board of Directors or Chief Executive Officer.

For a larger amount than one could make in a single gift—generally over $2,000—donors may wish to make a “pledged gift” to be paid over one or two years. This type of gift, a pledged gift, allows White’s to anticipate funding for future planning.

You may specify your gift to memorialize someone who is deceased or honor someone you love or admire.

Gifts may be specified for White’s endowment. The endowment is an investment account from which only the interest may be used, with the principal remaining permanently invested. There are four fund categories within the endowment, with the unrestricted endowment fund providing the most flexibility.

Besides current giving, planned or future giving may take many forms to best meet your needs.
