Some young people come to White’s directly through their parents’ or caregivers’ direction.  Such parents have discovered that their child is headed down the wrong path in life and that immediate action must be taken.  Oftentimes parents have completely exhausted themselves in an effort to keep their child in the home, only to find that the child is still involved in the same destructive types of behavior.  These parents look to White’s for the hope and salvation of their teens. 

Providing the care, structure, housing, education and counseling that young people need is very expensive.  The investment is one that costs thousands of dollars and may take a year or more to obtain results.  In some cases, the help children receive while at White’s is only seen years down the road.  However, the experiences young people encounter while in our care, the loving guidance they receive and the structured lifestyle that they participate in, the values they are taught more often than not result in rather dramatic changes in character for a lifetime of success.
