foster care support

With a house parent model where staff live with youth, White’s campus has a true family atmosphere.

White’s Residential campus provides children with a loving and nurturing environment in a family-like setting.

Our house-parent model distinguishes White’s from many other residential facilities that use shift workers. House parents have the opportunity to bond with the children in their care while offering structure and guidance as children learn personal responsibility, self-discipline and social skills.

Staff interaction with our residents doesn’t end at the close of the work day. Nearly half of our 160 staff members live with their families on campus. Families with children of all ages can regularly be seen throughout the campus, building relationships and providing positive role models.

White’s residents are also able to experience positive youth-oriented campus activities that help develop the whole person, including attending speeches, concerts and other events. Youth are also able to participate in high school athletics at our on-grounds, fully accredited public high school.

White’s environment not only allows its residents to grow socially, emotionally and spiritually, but also experience a healthy, structured recreational life.
