Service Philosophy

White’s Emergency Shelter Care provides a safe, caring Christian environment to assist youth in coping during transition. Each youth’s physical and emotional needs are met, while respecting their dignity and culture. Shelter care works collaboratively with the placing agency to meet the youth’s individual treatment goals.

Access and Purpose of Services

The Shelter Care has a license to serve 15 youth in crisis from ages 8 to 18. If the facility is full, or cannot offer services, staff will work with agencies to find appropriate placement. White’s Emergency Shelter Care provides staff secure crisis stabilization, contracted mental health and educational services as requested.
